Are you a real Liza Minnelli fan? If you are be sure not to miss her upcoming shows called Liza’s Place taking place at the Palace Theater in New York City.
Liza Minnelli Tickets has extended her stay at the Palace Theater and will appear through December 14th, 2008. vMinnelli will be joined onstage by singer-dancers Cortés Alexander, Jim Caruso, Tiger Martina and Johnny Rodgers during the production, which also features a 12-person orchestra under the direction of conductor/drummer Michael Berkowitz along with pianist and musical supervisor Billy Stritch.
The iconic singer will perform many of her showstoppers, such as "Cabaret," "Maybe This Time" and "New York, New York," followed by a dance-filled tribute to the groundbreaking late-1940s nightclub act of Minnelli’s godmother, Kay Thompson. The salute to Thompson will be performed by Minnelli for the first time onstage and will include musical hits (with the original vocal arrangements) from Thompson’s act: "I Love a Violin," "Clap Yo’ Hands," "Jubilee Time" and “Hello Hello."
