On December 6th, The Florida Gators are set to meet the Alabama Crimson Tide for the SEC Championship Game and earn a trip to the BCS Championship Game. To purchase tickets for this SOLD OUT match, call 800-660-6031 or SEC Championship Game Tickets .
All you Alabama and Florida fans who’ve been stressing about the different scenarios in the BCS standings, relax. With Penn State being upset by Iowa on Saturday, that means Alabama and Florida both control their own destiny in terms of getting a chance to play for the national championship. If either team wins out, which would include beating the other in the SEC Championship Game, that team can all but book its ticket to Miami for the BCS National Championship Game. That’s allowing for the Big 12 survivor to occupy one spot in the national title game.
The other spot would go to the SEC champion as long as that team isn’t upset in one of these final regular-season games. Alabama has home games remaining with Mississippi State and Auburn. Florida has home games left with South Carolina and The Citadel and a road game against Florida State on the final weekend of the regular season. It would be the third straight year and fourth time in the last six years that an SEC team has played in the BCS National Championship Game. Depending on what happens the next few weeks, there’s a chance that Alabama and Florida could meet in the SEC Championship Game as the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the BCS standings.
