Melanie Oudin’s Cinderella story continues at the 2009 US Open. The 17-year-old Georgia native’s incredible run is still going strong, as Oudin advanced to her first Grand Slam quarterfinal with a 1-6, 7-6(2), 6-3 come-from-behind win over No. 13 seed Nadia Petrova.

Comedian and actor Billy Crystal is reviving his Tony Award-winning show "700 Sundays" later this year with a traveling production of the autobiographical play. Before heading into Giant Stadium at the end of September to close down the stadium Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band is going to make a few stops in the North East.  Springsteen announced his plans to perform the final concerts at Giants Stadium during a May 21 concert at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. Originally booked for just three shows, the residency was expanded through October 8-9 after the initial performances sold out within hours of their June 1 on sale. All five shows feature general admission field tickets.
