"The Book of Mormon," a musical satire about religion written by the creators of "South Park," and "War Horse," a British play about a boy’s search for his beloved horse, dominated the 65th annual Tony Awards Sunday night.

The apparent predestination of "The Book of Mormon" as the big winner was not lost on comedian Chris Rock before he presented the best musical Tony. "This is such a waste of time," Rock joked. "It’s like taking a hooker to dinner."

"The Book of Mormon" got the best musical Tony, along with eight other trophies. The show had been nominated in 14 categories.

What the show lacked in suspense was made up with entertainment as two-time Tony host Neil Patrick Harris guided the three-hour broadcast from Broadway’s Beacon Theatre. Harris, who is openly homosexual, opened the show with a tongue-in-cheek number proclaiming "Broadway’s not just for gays anymore."

Most of the dozen song-and-dance performances were from nominated musicals, but the leading actors for "Spider-man, Turn Off the Dark" sang a duet from the show that opens on Broadway next Tuesday.

"War Horse" was the big winner among plays, winning all five categories in which it was nominated — including the best play Tony. It is the story of a teen’s journey to find his horse after it was shipped to France for duty in World War I.  Click here to purchase War Horse Tickets.

Theater fans have another reason to head to Broadway this Spring, to see their favorite TV stars on the big stage.  A limited engagement revival of playwright Jason Miller’s award-winning drama, "That Championship Season," opened March 6 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. Gregory Mosher directs the ensemble cast: Chris Noth, Kiefer Sutherland (in his Broadway debut), Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan, and Jason Patric, son of the late playwright.

The story centers around four former high school basketball stars (Noth, Sutherland, Gaffigan and Patric). They gather in Scranton, PA, around their ailing coach (Cox) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their win in the state championship game. But as long-held grudges are revealed and their friendships are threatened, they begin to question the value of competition and its meaning in their lives.

The play — which won a Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award and New York Drama Critics Circle Award — made its Broadway debut in 1972. The work went on to become a feature film in 1982, also written and directed by Miller. Its 2011 revival is produced by Robert Cole, Frederick Zollo, and the Shubert Organization.

Every year approximately 150-200 people show up to the Super Bowl with Fake tickets.  Not only does this come as a shock when the patron finds out that they cannot enter the stadium with the bogus tickets, but the financial blow can be very steep.

For this year’s Super Bowl XLV in Dallas, fans can expect to spend $2500 or more for an upper level ticket and around $6500 for a 50 yard line Club Level seat.

Below is some good advice to fans looking to buy Super Bowl Tickets.

“Consumers need to be especially cautious when purchasing tickets from an online third-party,” said Michelle Reinen, Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection. “Fraudulent ticket offers often appear on websites like Craigslist and in other classified advertisements.”

“Before hopping on a plane for Texas, make sure you have the official game tickets in your procession,” added Reinen. “Legitimate Super Bowl tickets are printed on thick, heavy paper with barcodes, holograms and raised ink. In addition, the NFL says the tickets include heat sensitive logos that disappear with the touch of a thumb.”

Consumer Protection offers these tips to avoid becoming a victim of Super Bowl ticket fraud:

Ask the seller to e-mail or fax you a copy of the actual tickets before making a payment. Make sure the ticket information includes the correct date, time, location and seating details.

Do not give out your credit card number, online or over the phone, unless you are sure the seller is legitimate.  Deal only "official" sources for tickets such as those endorsed by the team or those that are members of the National Association of Ticket Brokers.  These businesses carefully screen ticket offers and take care of other measures to protect consumers from ticket fraud.  Additionally it is advised to also check to see if the company’s BBB standing.

Lastly, be sure to use a credit card rather than cash, check or debit card to purchase tickets since it may provide some protection if you do not receive the tickets.
